ΠεριγραφήThis course is addresses students with an intermediate level of English (between Lower and Proficiency). The aim is to present, define and contextualize basic economic concepts in English and to prepare the students to understand basic economic texts in English and to discuss and then summarize those texts in written form. The subject areas to be covered are: the difference between Macro and Micro economic theory; Employment and Unemployment; Inflation; Money; National Income Accounting; International Trade; Business Cycles; and Public Finance. Συμπληρωματικά Στοιχεία:There will be a no examination in this course. The students will be assessed through their participation in class (50%) and the four written assignments to be completed during the term (50%). |
