Περιγραφή
This course addresses students with a relatively high level of English. The aim is to present, define and contextualize basic economic concepts in English and to prepare the student to understand advanced economic texts in English and to summarize those texts in written form. Discussion of the topics will also be encouraged. The subject areas to be covered include: the Economic Future of Europe, the Recession in Europe, the Digital Revolution and its Effects on Work, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Prospects for the Job Market. Συμπληρωματικά Στοιχεία:• There will be a no examination in this course. The students will be assessed through their participation in class (50%) and the four written assignments to be completed during the term (50%). |
